Changes, Changes, Changes

Seems like this is a forgotten place- right!? Well fear not. I’ve been extremely busy with Desoulbel and school, but I am setting aside time for HidinginSanity once again. In fact, I have a few articles that I never got around to posting but are written and will be posting them in coming time. Though, this post is just to make sure you, my readers, aren’t alarmed over the next few days when you see the site down. Despite my inactivity, it seems as the site still gets quite a bit of traffic and I wanted to make sure that no one thinks the site it dead.

So what is it about the site being down, you say? Simple, Desoulbel is growing and getting it’s very own web server! This beast is lightening fast and brand-spanking new. The best part is that I own the server outright and is dedicated to Desoulbel and it’s clients. What does that have to do with HidinginSanity? Obviously I’m not going to pay for hosting in addition to owning my own server. More importantly, I’m not going to leave my baby with a slow, horrid, neglectful hosting company (more on that in my next post). HidinginSanity is moving on to the new fast server with plenty more room to grow! I’ll probably be starting the transfer tomorrow night and it may not be completed until the end of the weekend.

Upon return, I will be more active and helpful to all those who read my site. I appreciate all the love and support I get from my readers because it feels really good to know I help you people. Also, you will see some small changes upon return as I want to upgrade the site a little bit. Not a major version, but some small template changes as I see fit to liven up the site some more.

In the meantime, you should be checking out all the goodies being announced at CES over the next few days. That should tie you over until I return next week!
